Architecture achieved through folding.

Paper Pavilion.

This project investigates the material properties and limits of paper. As part of a week-long class project, we collaborated with SCA Obbola, a packaging manufacturer, to design and construct an exhibition stand made entirely out of paper. Several restrictions were involved in the design brief, the structure had to be made through only folding, with no glue or adhesive permitted.

The final design features a semi-sphere like structure, designed to create a shelter on the inside with a continuous seating space.
